Acolytes The Cathedral’s Acolyte corps is made up of men and women, young and old, of all backgrounds, who "staff" our services, especially the 10:30 am Sunday Holy Eucharist, as well as Evensongs and other special occasions. Our Acolytes range in age from 7 to 70 and serve as crucifers, torch-bearers, thurifers, vergers and other roles to help make our worship experience complete. They also offer assistance to the bishops, priests, and deacons who lead the services.
