St. James Cathedral Book Club
We Welcome New Members to the Club!
The St. James Cathedral Book Club meets monthly (with a few exceptions) on the last Wednesday at 12:00 Noon at Montgomery Place in Chicago's Hyde Park neighborhood (see calendar below). We usually move on to a local eatery fopr lunch and discussion. All are welcome! Wednesday, August 27, 2008 The Night Birds by Thomas Maltman is another AWF winner and a first novel. It is a story about white Americans and the Dakota Indians in Minnesota in two periods in the 1800’s.
Wednesday, September 24, 2008 Keeping House by Ellen Barker is a story or saga of three generations of people living in Wisconsin.
