How We Gather Together

We cherish our times together both in worship and in fellowship, gathering in large and small groups to grow in faith and community.

Sunday Refreshments & Conversation

Like most parishes, we see each other most often on Sunday mornings. We gather for Eucharist at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., and 11 a.m. and linger afterward for refreshments and conversation.

Annual Meeting

The Annual Meeting, usually held on the last Sunday of January, is a time for members to celebrate the vision and direction of the Cathedral. While the business of electing new members to the governing board (the Cathedral Chapter) and approval of the budget take place, a party follows to celebrate accomplishments and enjoy the company of one another.

Great Easter Vigil Celebration

It's our tradition to celebrate our risen Lord and share a festive dinner and party after the Great Easter Vigil.

St. James Day

The last Sunday of July is the day we honor our patron saint, James, with a festive Eucharist and a picnic on the Pepper Family Plaza.

Cathedral Gala Fundraiser

The Annual Gala Fundraiser began in 2010 and now is an annual event to raise funds for the outreach ministries. The nave is transformed into a wonderful party venue with delicious food and exciting entertainment.

Yoga Classes

St. James offers two weekly yoga classes that last an hour. Sacred Space Yoga with Gary Alexander takes place Mondays from 5:30 p.m. in the nave. Gentle Yoga with Laurine Clark takes place Fridays from 12:15 p.m. in Kyle's Place Gallery.  Learn more.
