Dinner Groups
March to May, 2008

What:  A group of people who share food and fellowship together in each other’s homes, to establish and strengthen community relationships.  

Who: You!

n If you are new to Saint James Cathedral, this is a fun way to meet other people!

n If you have been thinking about participating for a while, now is the time to sign on!

n If you have participated in Dinner Group seasons in the past, you will need to resubmit your name and info for each new season.

n Ballots (sign up sheets) will be accepted until Sunday, February 24. Coordinators will establish the guest list, which will be mailed to you. Or you can send an e-mail to psiwek@saintjamescathedral.org with the following information: Name(s) | Can you serve as a host for eight people in your home? | Address | Phone number | E-mail address.

How:  Sign up Information

n Dinner Groups commit to meeting and eating in each others homes two times from march to May, 2008.

n Our Dinner Group coordinators will create groups of six to eight, and will let you know about your group by mail; they will also send group guidelines. Get a ballot (sign up sheet) at the back of the Cathedral and submit it by Sunday, February 24.

n Can you serve as a host for eight people? Please let us know. We need to be able to provide each group of eight with two hosts.

n Each host is responsible for contacting their group and setting a date, just like you would any other dinner party in your home.

n Dinners are potluck. This evens out the cost to the group. Group members decide who brings what.

n These groups are about meeting people and eating! Plain and simple.
