Pilgrimage to England
We are delighted to invite you on a pilgrimage to southern England, to encounter some of its cities and smaller villages, and learn a little of the stories of its saints and scholars.
During our time together, we will visit England’s two ancient university cities of Oxford and Cambridge, and learn a little of their histories. We will worship in a number of the great cathedrals that have played such a formative role in the Anglican world, including the Mother Church of the communion in Canterbury. We will learn of some of the lives of England’s saints, and hear how their stories might speak to our own experiences of living as Christians in the 21st Century.
As priests who have lived and worked in different parts of England, we are very familiar with all the places we will be visiting. In addition to our own leadership, we will be calling on the knowledge of various friends and professional guides to supplement the program, and we will be arranging worship opportunities both for our specific pilgrim group, and to join in the public liturgies of some of these wonderful churches and cathedrals.
We hope you can join us on this pilgrimage to the roots of our Episcopal/ Anglican history and culture.
