Donate to Summer In The City
For the past 26 years, one of the main outreach programs of St. James Cathedral has been Summer In The City. This summer camp has introduced hundreds of children to the wonders of a summer enrichment program right in the heart of Chicago. The adventures open young people’s minds, build new friendships, and create memories for the rest of their lives. We offer this camp free of charge so that children who are otherwise unable to have this kind of life-changing experience are able to do so. Donor & Sponsorship Levels
A gift of $4,000 covers the cost of bus transportation for all the exciting activities, from rock climbing, to visiting the Lincoln Park Zoo and Navy Pier.
A gift of $3,000 covers the cost of food for the two weeks.
A gift of $2,000 covers the cost of the arts program.
A gift of $1,000 covers the all the costs for the two weeks for one camper.
A gift of $500 sponsors one of our artists – giving them an opportunity to share their passions with the campers.
A gift of $250 covers the cost of food for one day of camp.
