St. James Day Camino

Thank you for making it a day to remember!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our St. James Day Camino de Santiago on Saturday, July 25! Over 100 pilgrims—walkers, cyclists, neighbors, families, and friends—came together to celebrate St. James Cathedral’s 150th anniversary.

Together, we journeyed along our themed routes across Chicago, exploring the civic history, sacred spaces, culture, and social justice milestones that connect our cathedral to the wider community.

The morning culminated in a festive procession into the Cathedral plaza led by our guest bagpiper, followed by a wonderful festival worship service and a delicious community meal hosted by the St. James' Meals Ministry team. It was a incredible day of fellowship, history, and community!
