Although yoga was developed in ancient India, people of all faiths found that this body-centered meditation is a great way to improve health, open the heart, and deepen your spirituality.

Sacred Space Yoga

Mondays at 5:45 p.m. in the cathedral (No class Sep. 24 or Oct. 1)
Suggested donation $12
No yoga experience required. No one will be turned away for inability to pay.

Yoga on Monday afternoons is held in the cathedral and taught by certified yoga instructor Gary Alexander. These basic classes will provide you with an intro (or refresher) to yoga. Bring a mat if you have one. Extras are available for use on a first-come/first served basis.

Gentle Yoga

Fridays at 12:15 p.m. in Kyle’s Place Gallery. (No class Oct. 12, Nov. 23, or month of Dec.)
Suggested donation $10. 
No yoga experience required. No one will be turned away for inability to pay.

Create harmony through deep breathing and gentle exercises on Fridays. Postures are modified to meet individual needs and abilities. Taught by registered, experienced, certified yoga instructor Laurine Clark, this practice will stretch and tone muscles, loosen stiff joints and help you feel agile, refreshed, and balanced. Bring a yoga mat or practice on a chair.
