Vigil for Peace

In the midst of the pain and suffering unleashed by recent events in our several communities, including the deaths of Renee Good and Alex Pretti, St. James Cathedral will host a vigil of prayer for peace and for our nation. All are welcome to gather at the cathedral, or join us online, for prayers, offerings by our cathedral choir, and the opportunity to light a candle. Following the 30 minute service of congregational prayer and music, the Cathedral will remain open for an additional half hour of individual prayer in sacred space. Clergy and lay pastoral care team members will also remain in the cathedral space and be available for pastoral conversation and individual healing prayer.
