Renowned choral director Margaret Burk leads a festival choir of children from around the diocese and the region who have come together for a weekend of music-making, fellowship, learning, and fun. A native of Lawrence, Kansas, Maggie is currently Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities at Carthage College in Kenosha, Wis., where she oversees the choral area, teaches coursework in music education, choral literature, and conducting, and directs the award-winning Carthage Choir. She is a renowned clinician and composer, and we look forward to sharing her musical gifts with our community.
