Young Adults Superbowl Potluck

Join the Young Adults to watch the Superbowl on Sunday, February 12. The game starts starts at 5:30 p.m., so we’ll start arriving around 5 p.m. Bring something to share if you can, but show up even if you’re not able to!

Diocesan Choir Festival Evensong

Singers from across the Diocese of Chicago will join the Cathedral Choir for Evensong celebrating the last Sunday before Lent begins, February 19 at 4 p.m. With musicians filling the chancel, the sound of this festival choir is not to be missed.
Music by Undine Smith Moore, Smith, Sumsion, and Candlyn. A festive reception will follow!
Choral Evensong for Candlemas

Evensong for Candlemas features a congregational candlelight procession to symbolize Jesus as the light of the world. As proclaimed by the old man Simeon who said, “Mine eyes have seen thy salvation”, this service celebrates Christ's light during the darkest days of winter and will warm your heart with beauty and serenity.
Music by Byrd, Praetorius, Josquin, and Tallis. Stephen Buzard plays Bach's Schübler Chorales as a prelude to the service at 3:40pm.
