Season of Invitation

As members of St. James, we proclaim with our words and our lives the loving, liberating, and life-giving good news of Christ. Through the spiritual practice of evangelism we seek, name, and celebrate Jesus’ loving presence in the stories of all people. We want everyone who visits to know that they're not just welcome at our church, they belong. That is good news! As followers of Jesus, we want everyone we meet to know that God loves them, no exceptions. That is the Good News of the Gospel!

In this year's Season of Invitation, share the good things in your life with those who could use some goodness in theirs. This might include St. James Cathedral's beautiful worship space, inspiring music, or thought-provoking preaching. This also might include laughing over a potluck dinner, remembering a loved one on All Souls Day, or kneeling together at Communion week by week.
